SUBSTANCE : group of inventions relates to a method for forming solid oxide fuel cells with a metal support. This method for forming a solid oxide fuel cell with a metal support includes applying a green anode layer containing a nickel oxide and a rare earth-doped ceria onto a metal substrate; pre-firing the anode layer under non-reducing conditions to form a composite material; firing the composite material in a reducing atmosphere to form a sintered cermet; providing an electrolyte and providing the cathode. Above reducing atmosphere contains a source of oxygen. And the partial pressure of oxygen in the reducing atmosphere at the firing stage is in the range of 10-14 to 10-22 bar. There is also a solid oxide fuel cell, a fuel cell battery and the use of a fuel cell.
EFFECT : group of inventions makes it possible to create an anode that is stable against multiple reduction-oxidation cycles.
