PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electron transport material which is excellent in compatibility with an organic solvent and a binder resin, has no risk of causing liquid sagging and cracks after having been applied to a support, has an electron transportation capability with excellent sensitivity, and enables synthesis which is extremely easy and inexpensive than a conventional one and has high yield; and an electronic material using the electron transport material.SOLUTION : An electron transport material contains an alanine derivative represented by Formula (I). In Formula (I), Rand Rare the same or different from each other, and represent an alkyl group having 6 to 16 carbon atoms. The alanine derivative is preferably synthesized by a reaction of naphthalene tetracarboxylic dianhydride and alanine alkyl ester or alanine.SELECTED DRAWING : None
