The present invention is provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrode containing lithium, and a non-aqueous electrolyte having lithium ion conductivity. The non-aqueous electrolyte includes a non-aqueous solvent and a solute. The positive electrode contains at least a positive electrode active material containing manganese dioxide, a conductivity auxiliary material, and a binding agent, and furthermore contains a sulfate and an oxide of a rare earth element.
