PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a reactor containment vent system capable of continually releasing steam inside a reactor containment to the outside of the system and continuously reducing the pressure of the reactor containment without releasing radioactive rare gas from the reactor containment to the outside during operating the vent. SOLUTION : The reactor containment vent system includes : a vent line for discharging a gas inside the reactor containment to the outside of the reactor containment; a rare gas filter disposed in the vent line; a return piping connecting the upstream of the rare gas filter and the reactor containment in the vent line; and a pump disposed in the return piping. The rare gas filter is a film filter that shuts off the radioactive noble gas but permeates vapor. SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1 COPYRIGHT : (C)2018, JPO&INPIT
