PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a solid oxide type fuel battery cell which is capable of preventing a high resistance layer from being generated by diffusing Sr and has an excellent power generation performance.
SOLUTION : A solid oxide type fuel battery cell comprises : a zirconia-based solid electrolyte layer; an anode that is provided at the side of one face of the solid electrolyte layer; a cathode provided at the side of the other face of the solid electrolyte layer and contains Sr; and a reaction prevention layer that is formed by doping a rare earth element in a ceria that is provided between the solid electrolyte layer and the cathode. Regarding the reaction prevention layer, a dope amount as an oxide (AO1.5) of a rare earth element (A) is more than 10 mol% and less than 30 mol%. Thus, densification of the reaction prevention layer is attained, thereby promoting movements of oxygen ions. Further, the solid oxide type fuel battery cell is capable of preventing a high resistance layer from being generated by diffusing Sr and can have an excellent power generation performance.
