Provided is a zirconia fully sintered body that does not deform, said zirconia fully sintered body having superior translucency and chroma of color tone than a zirconia object to be cut for dental cutting work produced from a zirconia starting material powder containing various types of stabilizer, while maintaining high strength. This zirconia object to be cut for dental cutting work is a semi-calcined zirconia object to be cut for dental cutting work including a semi-calcined body of ceramic particles; said zirconia object to be cut for dental cutting work includes zirconium oxide, a stabilizer comprising an oxide, and a water soluble compound salt that is not an oxide and includes at least one element selected from calcium, magnesium and rare earth elements; the amount of the stabilizer in the semi-calcined body of ceramic particles is 2-7 mol%; and the amount of the water soluble compound salt in the zirconia object to be cut for dental cutting work is 0.1-3.5 mol%.
