PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for easily detecting fucose, and a method for easily measuring the concentration of fucose. SOLUTION : An electrode for use in electrochemical measurement, capable of detecting fucose, carries pyrroloquinoline quinone-dependent pyranose dehydrogenase derived from Coprinopsis cinerea on the surface.
