Provided are : a fluorescent material powder having a high fluorescence retention rate; a light-emitting device using same; and a method for producing the fluorescent material powder. This fluorescent material powder is characterized by being represented by formula (1) and by having a D10 value of 10 μm or more, the D10 value corresponding to a cumulative volume of 10% on a volume-based particle size distribution obtained using a laser diffraction scattering method.
