The present invention relates to a night vision device for a vehicle using a substrate. The night vision device for a vehicle using a substrate comprises a vehicle glass (102), a vehicle head light (105), and a windshield glass (102). The windshield glass (102) is added with or coated with nano-powders to emit visible rays by absorbing infrared rays such as up-conversion phosphor (UCP) made of a ceramic material added with rare earth resources. When it is difficult to ensure a view without external light at the time of night driving with only a head light (105) for a vehicle separately having an infrared lamp which radiates infrared rays in a high beam direction, infrared light radiated from an infrared lamp in a high beam direction is reflected by an object and then is incident onto the vehicle windshield glass (102). In this case, the nano-powders absorb the infrared ray to be discharged as a visible light, and thus a driver can ensure a view shown when a head light is emitted in the high beam direction. When a vehicle mounted with the vehicle glass (102) and the headlight (105) is approaching from the front or approaching from the opposite lane. In this case, when a distance measured by a wireless distance measuring unit (104) wirelessly measuring a distance between vehicles is short, an output control unit (103) slowly reduces an infrared output of the headlight (105) to a level which the driver accepts according to the distance. When the distance is far enough, the infrared output is increased as far as the distance. When the distance is far from a reference value, the infrared output is controlled in a normal output maintaining method. Thus, the night vision device can solve a problem of night driving due to an interference between vehicles using the same infrared rays radiated in a high beam direction.
