PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxide superconducting wire capable of securing stable and high superconducting property under magnetic field applied environment.SOLUTION : A superconducting raw material solution containing at least one addition element of Zr, Sn, Ce, Ti, Hf, Nb forming a magnetic flux pinning point in a mixed solution containing RE, Ba and Cu with a molar ratio of Ba in the range of y<2 is applied onto an intermediate layer formed on a substrate. Then the applied superconducting raw material solution is subjected to calcination treatment to form a superconducting precursor. Then an intermediate heat treatment for baking the superconducting precursor with holding lower temperature than firing temperature in the baking treatment is performed and a final baking treatment is performed on the superconducting precursor to produce a REBaCuO-based tape shape RE-based oxide superconducting wire. The intermediate heat treatment quickly cools the superconducting precursor from held firing temperature to room temperature compared to natural cooling.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 2
