PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a rare earth magnet capable of suppressing burr generation of a sintered compact. SOLUTION : A method for manufacturing a rare earth magnet comprises the steps of : obtaining a compact by pressing rare-earth alloy powders filled in a die by a punch; increasing the intensity of the compact by subjecting the compact to heat treatment; removing burrs from the compact after the heat treatment; and sintering the compact after removing the burrs.
