PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnetic memory of an SOT writing system with improved writing efficiency. SOLUTION : A magnetic memory according to one embodiment comprises : first to third terminals; a conductive first non-magnetic layer including first to third portions, the first portion located between the second portion and the third portion, the second portion electrically connected to the first terminal, and the third portion electrically connected to the second terminal; a first magnetic resistance element including a first magnetic layer electrically connected to the third terminal, a second magnetic layer arranged between the first magnetic layer and the first portion, and a second non-magnetic layer arranged between the first magnetic layer and the second magnetic layer; and a first layer arranged at least between the first portion and the second magnetic layer and containing at least one element of Mg, Al, Si, Hf, and a rare earth element and at least one element of oxygen and nitrogen.
