PURPOSE : High-strength flake graphite iron using rare-earth elements and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain stable structure, excellent fluidity, high tensile strength, and high hardness by precisely controlling a ratio of sulfur and the rare-earth elements. CONSTITUTION : A manufacturing method of high-strength flake graphite iron using rare-earth elements is as follows : a step of melting iron materials containing 3.3-3.4 wt.% of C, 2.0-2.2 wt.% of Si, 0.6-0.8 wt.% of Mn, 0.04 wt.% or less of P, and the rest of Fe in a furnace to manufacture molten iron; a step of adding 0.15-0.2 wt.% of S and 0.01-0.03 wt.% of the rare-earth elements to the molten iron; a step of adding Sr-based inoculants to the molten iron tapped to a ladle; and a step of injecting the molten iron to a mold (500).
