The purpose of the present invention is to secure oxidation resistance of electrodes and to inhibit the generation of pre-ignition. An ignition plug comprises a central electrode, and a ground electrode, wherein a gap is formed between the central electrode and the ground electrode. An electrode in at least one between the central electrode and the ground electrode is formed by a nickel alloy comprising nickels as a major component, and 20 mass% or more of chrome.
