FIELD : chemistry.
SUBSTANCE : invention relates to the field of fluorine-conducting solid electrolytes (PCSE). Fluorine-conducting solid electrolytes M1-xRxV2+x with a fluorite structure in the single-crystal form are proposed for the high-temperature thermodynamic studies of chemical substances containing fluorides of alkaline earth (M) and rare-earth (R) metals. The composition is selected that ensures their congruence. To do this, their compositions are selected by corresponding maxima on the melting curves of the fluorite phases on the phase diagrams of the systems MF2 - RF3 and contain : difluoride CaF2 with additives of trifluorides RF3 (R=Sm, Gd, Tb, Ho, Er, Y) at a ratio of CaF2 89-96 moll. % and KF 4-11 moll. %; difluoride SrF2 with additives of trifluoridesRY3 (R=La, CE, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Y) at a ratio of SrF2 69-90 moll. % and RF3 10-31 moll. % and alsodifluoride BaF2 with additives of trifluorides RF3 (R=La, CE, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb) at a ratio of BaF2 69-96 moll. % and RF2 4-31 moll. %, which provides the testing for the fluoride-ion conductivity σexceeding 1×10-1 Ohm-1cm-1 at temperatures of 450-1570°C.
EFFECT : invention allows the creation of promising fluorine-conducting solid electrolytes, which allow increasing the functioning of solid-state galvanic cells for thermodynamic studies.
