The invention relates to polymer compositions which contain marker substances for labeling, identification, and authentication and thus can be used for labeling products made of meltable plastics. The marker substances are complexes of 2-oxazoline derivatives and transition metal ions or main group metal ions or ions of rare earths. The metal ions are preferably molybdenum, indium, or gadolinium ions. The invention further relates to molded bodies made of or including the polymer composition.
