PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a light-emitting device having superior color rendering properties.
SOLUTION : A light-emitting device comprises : a light-emitting element having a peak wavelength of 410-440 nm; and a fluorescent member. The fluorescent member includes : a first phosphor having a peak wavelength of 430-500 nm, including Cl in its composition and including a Eu-activated alkaline earth metal phosphate; a second phosphor having a peak wavelength of 440-550 nm, and including at least one of a Eu-activated alkaline earth metal aluminate, and a Eu-activated silicate including Ca, Mg and Cl in its composition; a third phosphor having a peak wavelength of 500-600 nm and including a Ce-activated rare earth metal aluminate; a fourth phosphor having a peak wavelength of 610-650 nm, having at least one of Sr and Ca, and Al in its composition, and including a Eu-activated silicon nitride; and a fifth phosphor having a peak wavelength of 650-670 nm, and including a Mn-activated fluorogermanate.
