PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To create an image having more natural sensibility and an illustration style. SOLUTION : An image processing device 100 includes : a conversion unit 102 for converting a first color image into lightness information and color information other than the lightness information; a lightness compression unit 104 for generating compression lightness information in which the lightness information is decimated; a reconversion unit 106 for synthesizing the compression lightness information and the color information to generate a second color image; an edge extraction unit 108 for extracting an edge included in the first color image; and a pixel value change unit 110 for changing a pixel value at a position of an edge in the second color image to generate a third color image while maintaining similar color.
