PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth-iron-nitrogen-based alloy powder for bond magnet excellent in weather resistance and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION : The manufacturing method of a rear earth-iron-nitrogen-based alloy powder for bond magnet includes a raw material powder mixing process, a reduction diffusion treatment process, a hydrogen treatment process, a wet treatment process, a nitriding treatment process, a fine powder pulverization process, a solid solution separation drying process, the rear earth-iron-nitrogen-based alloy powder obtained in the nitriding treatment process is applied to fine powder pulverization treatment in an organic solvent containing mercapto benzotriazole of 1 mass% to 6 mass% in the fine powder pulverization process, the rear earth-iron-nitrogen-based alloy powder has average particle diameter of 1 μm to 5 μm and a mercapto benzotriazol coated film with average thickness of 5 nm to 100 nm is provided on a surface.
