PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of a fluophor of red luminescence excellent in durability.
SOLUTION : There is provided a manufacturing method of a fluophor including preparing a fluophor particle containing a fluoride having Mn, at least one kind selected from a group consisting of alkali metal element and NH4+ and at least one kind selected from a group consisting of Group 4 element and Group 14 element, obtaining a rare earth phosphate-adhered fluophor particle where rare earth phosphate adheres to the fluophor particle by contacting at least one kind of cation selected from rare earth element and phosphoric acid ion in a liquid medium containing the fluophor particle, and separating the rare earth phosphate-adhered fluophor particle and the liquid medium.
