[Problem] To provide a wiring board wherein a transparent wiring line is formed by subjecting the surface of a metal wiring line to a chemical treatment, thereby dulling the metallic luster and increasing invisibility. [Solution] A wiring board which comprises a transparent substrate (15) and a metal wiring line (5) that is formed on the transparent substrate (15), and wherein a layer of a triazine compound having a thiol group is formed on the surface of the metal wiring line (5). Although transparency of conventional wiring boards is deteriorated since conventional metal wiring lines reflect light due to metallic luster thereof, the metallic luster of the metal wiring line (5) is dulled by arranging the layer of a triazine compound thereon, so that the invisibility of the metal wiring line (5) is increased, thereby providing a transparent wiring line that does not contain a rare earth element.
