PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To increase a high-temperature coercive force of a neodymium magnet to be inserted in a magnet insertion hole of a rotor without adding a heavy rare earth element.
SOLUTION : A motor comprises a filler 13 between a rotor 1 and a neodymium magnet 12, which satisfies the relations given by the following expressions (1) and (2) : γ>α and γ>β (1); and αAΔT+D<βBΔT+γCΔT (2), where ΔT represents a temperature difference between an assembling temperature of the motor and a service temperature, α, β and γ represent linear expansion coefficients of the rotor 1, the neodymium magnet 12 and the filler 13 respectively, and A, B, C and D represent a size of a magnet insertion hole 11, a size of the neodymium magnet 12, a size of the filler 13 and a size of a cavity of the magnet insertion hole 11 in a direction perpendicular to an inner wall surface 11a of the magnet insertion hole at the assembling temperature respectively.
