FIELD : chemistry.
SUBSTANCE : method for producing impregnated sorbent is proposed, comprising preparing the impregnation solution, the impregnating additive, the base impregnating, maturing and heat treatment. The base is represented by ion-exchange resin with a total pore volume of 0.80-0.87 cm3/g. The impregnating additive is represented by finely divided activated carbon with the size of micropores having the half width of 0.56-0.60 nm. The heat treatment is carried out at the temperature of 70-78°C.
EFFECT : invention allows to obtain impregnated sorbent for extracting the rare earth element lanthanum from aqueous solution, having the increased sorptive activity as per lanthanum.
