FIELD : agriculture.
SUBSTANCE : method for deep loosening of poorly permeable soils involves performing their continuous loosening to the depth of not less than 0.6 m and deep continuous re-loosening, the time for performing which is appointed taking into account the parent soil rock presented by, in particular, covering and moraine loams. While appointing the time for performing the continuous deep re-loosening of poorly water-permeable soils, the soil frost heaving is additionally taken into account, which is determined by a class of particle size distribution of the soil, the depth of its freezing, and the groundwater level counted from the lower boundary of freezing. The time for continuous deep re-loosening of soils formed on covering and moraine loams is appointed in accordance with the table, according to which the choice of the repetition interval for deep loosening of soils is dependent on parent rock and the degree of soil frost heaving. The soil granulometric composition class is determined by the field normalized organoleptic method. The depth of soil freezing is determined by means of cryopedometers installed at the site to observe the depth of soil freezing. The groundwater level measured relative to the lower boundary of freezing is determined by means of boreholes made at the site for observing the position of the groundwater level. The term of performing continuous deep re-loosening of poorly permeable soils is corrected taking into account the crop rotation for which the drained area is used, and the position of a crop for which deep loosening is carried out in crop rotation.
EFFECT : reliable determination of the aftereffect term of deep loosening of poorly-permeable soils.
