Provided is a method for manufacturing a rare earth magnet, which comprises the steps of : preparing rare earth magnet raw material powder containing R, Fe and B as compositions, wherein R is selected from at least one element selected from rare earth magnet elements including Y and Sc; filling the raw material powder into a molding die; and compressing and molding the filled powder while forming a magnetic field. The compressing and molding step is to compress the filled powder toward two axes which are X axis and Y axis, assuming the direction of the magnetic field is Z axis.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
