PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a single crystal scintillator having high light emitting amount, easy single crystal growth property without cleavage property nor deliquescence, and a radiation detector, an imaging apparatus and a nondestructive inspection apparatus using the same. SOLUTION : A scintillator crystal material is a pyrochlore crystal containing La and Gd, containing a rare earth metal element emitting 5d-4f transition light as an optical activator, where a relationship of molar fraction MLa of La, and molar fraction MGd of Gd, satisfies 0.64≥MLa/MGd≥0.15, light emission wavelength of scintillator light is 200 nm to 500 nm and distribution of light emission wavelength intensity of the scintillator light to light emission wavelength shows two or more peaks. When light emission wavelength intensity of a peak with shorter light emission wavelength is P1 and light emission wavelength intensity of a peak with longer light emission wavelength is P2 out of a peak with the highest light emission wavelength intensity and a peak with second highest light emission wavelength intensity, a relationship of P1/P2≥0.97 is satisfied.
