In the present invention, a magnetic rubber composition containing 100 parts by mass of a hydrogenated nitrile rubber (A) including carboxyl groups or carboxylic acid anhydride groups, 0.5-10 parts by mass of a polyamine-based crosslinking agent (B), and 200-1500 parts by mass of a rare earth magnet powder (C) is heated and crosslinked, and a magnetic rubber molded article is obtained. A magnetic rubber molded article including a hydrogenated nitrile rubber and a rare earth magnet powder and having excellent heat resistance and magnetic characteristics is thereby provided. The hydrogenated nitrile rubber (A) preferably includes monomer units of an α, β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monoester.
