SOLUTION : A rare earth magnet is manufactured by applying a powder of a rare earth compound to a sintered magnet body by holding the sintered magnet body in a grounded jig with high conductivity, spraying the powder to the sintered magnet body while charging the powder, and electrostatically coating the sintered magnet body with the powder, and by performing heat treatment thereon. EFFECT : The powder of the rare earth compound can be uniformly applied to a sintered magnet body surface and further, the application operation can be extremely efficiently performed.
