PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing an acrylic rubber composition which gives a rubber crosslinked product capable of suppressing deterioration of physical properties, such as elongation, in a high temperature condition for a long time and having a smaller elongation change in short time heat resistance test.SOLUTION : An acrylic rubber composition is provided which is obtained by kneading 100 pts.wt. carboxyl group-containing acrylic rubber and 0.1-10 pts.wt. compound represented by following general formula (1) with a closed kneader or an extruder at 200-250°C (in formula (1), Y is a single bond or -SO-; Rand Rare each independently an organic group having 1-30 carbon atoms which may have a substituent; Zand Zare each independently a chemical single bond or -SO-; and n and m are each independently 0 or 1 and at least one of n and m is 1).
