PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To reduce the used amount of rare earth while maintaining and securing performance of a small-sized motor, by decreasing the thickness of a compression-molded annular rare earth resin magnet for use in a permanent magnet field of the small-sized motor.SOLUTION : A stretchable resin composition, which is finally turned into an insoluble and infusible three-dimensional network structure together with rare earth magnet powder, serves as a basis. A thin thermoplastic sheet is turned into a thermoset sheet, and the sheet is formed in a tubular shape based on uniaxial stretching and an arc shape based on uniaxial unequal stretching. Consequently, a thin annular rare earth resin magnet for use in a small-sized motor is manufactured.
