Disclosed are a pellet for synthetic wood and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of a pellet for synthetic wood of an embodiment of the present invention : manufactures a primary mixture having 1-5% of the percentage water content by primarily mixing and drying 60-68 parts by weight of wood flour, 0.1-1 parts by weight of an antioxidant, and 5-10 parts by weight of a coupling agent; manufactures a secondary mixture by heating the same, after mixing 2-4 parts by weight of an impact-reinforcing agent and 0.5-1.5 parts by weight of a lubricant with respect to 100 parts by weight of the primary mixture; manufactures a tertiary mixture by mixing and heating 20-26 parts by weight of polypropylene and 2-6 parts by weight of polyethylene in the secondary mixture; and manufactures a pellet having the fixed granularity by extruding the tertiary mixture using an extruder.
