To provide a ferrite sintered magnet having high Br and HcJ and reduced in a Co use amount compared with conventional SrLaCo magnets or CaLaCo magnets.SOLUTION : In the ferrite sintered magnet of this invention, regarding a general formula : Ca1-x-yRxAyFe2n-zCoz that indicates an atom ratio of Ca, R, A, Fe and Co (R is at least one of rare-earth elements including La essentially; A is Sr and/or Ba), the x, the y, and the z, and the n, (2n is a molar ratio and expressed as 2n=(Fe+Co)/(Ca+R+A)) satisfy the expressions : 0.15≤x≤0.35; 0.05≤y≤0.40; 1-x-y>y; 0
