[Solution] A photosensitizer which is a salt of a dye represented by general formula (I). (In formula (I), n represents an integer of 1 or 2; R1, R2 and R3 may be the same as or different from each other, and each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 2-8 carbon atoms or an aralkyl group, with one among the R1, R2 and R3 moieties being a hydrogen atom at a maximum; the R1, R2 and R3 moieties may combine together to form a cyclic structure; and Dye represents an organic dye containing no rare transition metal.)
