PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth magnet having a high Curie point, which enables the reduction in the amount of use of Nd in a (Nd, Pr)-Fe-B based magnet (preferably, by substituting all of Nd with Ce).
SOLUTION : A rare earth magnet is represented by the following composition formula (1) : RαFe94-α-yCoyB6+β (where R includes at least one of rare earth elements other than Nd element; 8≤α≤16; 0≤β≤6; and 5≤y≤30). The magnet has a Curie point of 350°C or higher.
