PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth isotropic bond magnet which enables the easy magnetization with a narrow pitch without sacrificing the productivity by enhancement of a magnetization property of an isotropic bond magnet including Nd-Fe-B based magnetic powder.
SOLUTION : A rare earth isotropic bond magnet comprises : anisotropic magnetic powder A including a rare earth element (Sm or at least one element of lanthanoids including Sm and Y), iron and nitrogen as primary components and having a Th2Zn17 type crystal structure; and isotropic magnetic powder B including a rare earth element (Nd, Pr, or at least one element of lanthanoids including Y and as its matrix, Nd or Pr), iron and boron as primary components and having a Nd2Fe14B type crystal structure. The ratio A/(A+B) of the anisotropic magnetic powder A to the total mass of the kinds of magnetic powder is 10-60%.
