PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnetic gear device in which eddy current loss is less and an increase in size is restricted. SOLUTION : A magnetic gear device comprises : a first magnet array 1 in which a plurality of magnetic pole pairs are arranged at substantially equal intervals along a specific direction; a second magnetic array 3, opposite to the first magnetic array 1, in which a plurality of magnetic pole pairs are arranged at substantially equal intervals shorter (longer) in pitch than the first magnet array 1; and a magnetic-body array 2, located between the first and second magnet arrays 1, 3, in which a plurality of magnetic bodies are arranged at substantially equal intervals. The second magnet array 3 (or the first magnet array 1) has a laminate formed from a first layer of rare-earth sintered magnet and a second layer of rare-earth bond magnet.
