PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a wavelength conversion material which is composed of resin particles in which an organic rare earth complex is incorporated in an acrylic resin and prevents the deterioration of the organic rare earth complex. SOLUTION : There is provided a wavelength conversion material which is composed of resin particles comprising an acrylic resin including an organic rare earth complex, wherein the acrylic resin is a polymer obtained by reacting a composition for an acrylic resin comprising a (meth)acrylate monomer, a crosslinking agent and an azo-based polymerization initiator, the crosslinking agent is a compound represented by the following formula (I) (wherein, R1 and R2 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; n is an integer of 2 to 14), and in the formula (I), when n is 2, the content of the crosslinking agent is 0.1 to 5 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the (meth)acrylate monomer and when n is 3 to 14, the content of the crosslinking agent is 0.1 to 50 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the (meth)acrylate monomer.
