PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rotor dismantling device capable of easily taking a rare earth magnet from a rotor separated from a rotor assembly of a motor taken out from a household electric appliance or the like and recycling it.SOLUTION : A rotor dismantling device includes : a fixing tool 4 fixing a rotor 1; an image position detection device 5 detecting the position of a bar-like fixing adhesion member 3 in a surface 2a of a pressing plate 2; a rotor height detection device 6 detecting the height by moving a pair of first laser sensors 6a provided with a light-emitting part and a light receiving part and a pair of second laser sensors 6b provided with a light-emitting part and a light receiving part in an axial direction of the rotor 1; a cutting device 7 cutting the bar-like fixing adhesion member 3 on the basis of position information and height information; a reversing device 10 moving an end part of the rotor to a detaching position in the axial direction of the rotor 1 on the basis of the height information after reversing the rotor 1 by 90°; and a detaching device 8 detaching the pressing plate 2 by moving a brush member 9 in a radial direction of the rotor 1 at the detaching position.
