[Problem] To provide a method for obtaining a molded Sm-Fe-N-based magnet of increased suitability for mass production. [Solution] The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a molded Sm-Fe-N-based magnet having a hot compression molding step in which a Sm-Fe-N-based magnetic powder that is at a temperature of 600ºC or below is for compression-molded at a molding pressure of 1-5 GPa and a molded Sm-Fe-N-based magnet having a relative density of 80% or greater is obtained.
