The present invention relates to an LED encapsulant comprising rare earth metal oxide particles, and more specifically to an LED encapsulant comprising, in a polymer resin, a compound represented by chemical formula (1) and having a particle diameter having a sphericity of 0.5-1. The encapsulant composition according to the present invention has the advantage of dramatically improving the light extraction efficiency of light formed in an LED chip.
