PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To make it possible to stably manufacture a permanent magnet superior in temperature characteristic without remarkably worsening a magnetic property unlike a conventional R-T-B-based permanent magnet.SOLUTION : An R-T-B-based permanent magnet comprises : rare earth elements R, of which a predetermined amount consists of at least one rare earth element selected from Y, La and Ce; and a raw material alloy for R-T-B-based permanent magnets, which includes a proper amount of Ca. Thus, a permanent magnet superior in temperature characteristic can be stably manufactured without remarkably worsening its magnetic property.COPYRIGHT : (C)2016, JPO&INPIT
