The present invention provides a three way catalyst having a double perovskite structure and storing or discharging oxygen according to an oxidation-reduction atmosphere to perform a three way catalysis function. The three way catalyst according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a compound of a chemical formula 1 represented by RE_1_-_xE′_xT_2O_5_+_δ. In the chemical formula 1, R includes one or more elements selected from a rare earth family or a lanthanide family, E and E′ include mutually different elements selected from an alkaline earth metal family, T includes one or more elements selected from transition metals, O is oxygen, x is a number greater than 0 and less than 1, and δ is a positive number equal to or less than 0 or 1 which is a value for electrically neutralizing the compound of the chemical formula 1.
