PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To improve a rare earth permanent magnet component in magnet performance and corrosion resistance.
SOLUTION : A composite plating method of a neodymium iron boron rare earth permanent magnet component comprises the steps of : forming a half-finished product of a neodymium iron boron rare earth permanent magnet by sintering and aging; forming a neodymium iron boron rare earth permanent magnet body by machining the half-finished product; and forming a neodymium iron boron rare earth permanent magnet component by performing a plating process on the neodymium iron boron rare earth permanent magnet body. A plating layer has a three-layer structure including the following first to third layers. The first layer is a magnetron sputtering plating layer. The second layer is a composite plating layer including a magnetron sputtering plating layer and a multi-arc ion plating layer. The third layer is a magnetron sputtering plating layer.
