PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a cladding material for a lithium battery capable of developing excellent electrolytic solution resistance for a long period of time.
SOLUTION : A cladding material for a lithium battery 10 is composed of a laminate in which a base material layer 11, a first adhesive layer 12, a metal foil layer 14, an anticorrosive treatment layer 15, a second adhesive layer 16, and a sealant layer 17 are laminated in this order; the anticorrosive treatment layer 15 contains rare earth element oxide, and phosphoric acid or phosphate at the ratio of 1-100 mass parts to 100 mass parts of the rare earth element oxide; the second adhesive layer 16 consists of an adhesive composition containing acid modified polyolefin resin and polyfunctional isocyanate compound; and a ratio(Y/X) of an absorption(Y) derived from an N-H expansion-contraction vibration of a buret linkage to an absorption(X) derived from C-H expansion-contraction vibration of CH3 is equal to or less than 0.3, in infrared absorption spectrum of the second adhesive layer 16.
