A method for preparing a rare earth-modified polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membrane, comprising the steps of : dissolving lanthanum nitrate in deionized water to obtain a solution A, dissolving ammonium paratungstate and potassium carbonate in deionized water to obtain a solution B, and dissolving citric acid in ionized water to obtain a solution C; adding half of solution C to solution A and the other half to solution B, and separately stirring the mixed solutions; slowly adding solution A to solution B, and simultaneously adding ethylene glycol, heating the mixed solution to 65-70°C and stirring the same for 2-4 h to obtain a sol; transferring the obtained sol to a constant temperature blast drying oven and heating the sol for 25-27 h, and then transferring same to a vacuum drying oven to obtain a gel; stirring and dissolving dried PES, a porogen PEG400, and the gel prepared above in DMAC, leaving the solution to stand for deaeration, scraping the membrane on a glass plate with a scraper, and then putting the membrane into ultrafiltered water to form a natural membrane to obtain the product. The polyethersulfone flat membrane with the rare earth added has a notably increased pure water flux and improved mechanical properties, and has a significant antibacterial effect.
