The present invention provides oxygen storage device which stores or releases oxygen depending on whether the environment is oxidative or reductive and has a double-layered perovskite structure. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the oxygen storage device may include a compound represented by Chemical formula of RET_2O_5+δ . In Chemical formula, R includes one or more elements selected from a rare earth group or a lanthanum group; E includes one or more elements selected from an alkali earth metal group; T includes one or more elements selected from transition metals; O is oxygen; and δ is a positive number which makes the compound of the Chemical 1 be electrically neutral.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
