A fabrication method of a MnBi-based magnetic substance according to the present invention comprises : (a) a step of simultaneously melting a manganese-based material and a bismuth-based material to form a composite molten liquid; (b) a step of cooling the composite molten liquid to form a nonmagnetic MnBi-based ribbon; and (c) a step of performing a heat treatment on the nonmagnetic MnBi-based ribbon to transform the nonmagnetic MnBi-based ribbon into a magnetic MnBi-based ribbon. A fabrication method of a sintered MnBi-based magnet comprises : (a) a step of grinding the MnBi-based magnetic substance to form magnetic powder; (b) a step of molding the magnetic powder while applying a magnetic field; and (c) a step of sintering the magnetic powder.
