The purpose of the present invention is to provide an anti-allergy composition. To this end, provided is a composition for preventing, treating, improving, or alleviating allergic diseases including a Hovenia dulcis extract as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention can inhibit secretion of allergy causing substances existed in granulation of fat cells, and formation of histamine, TNF-α, interleukin, and TARC in human epidermal keratinocyte by comprising the Hovenia dulcis extract as an active ingredient, thereby being used for preventing, treating, improving, or alleviating allergic diseases.
