The present invention relates to an organic binder composition for a rare earth-based bonded magnet and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, the method for manufacturing an organic binder composition for a rare earth-based bonded magnet comprises : a step of mixing a silane coupling agent with a derivative which is a thermoplastic polymer; a step of manufacturing a binder in a structure wherein a surface of a derivative particle is coated with the silane coupling agent by evaporating and drying a solvent of a silane coupling agent mixture; and a step of manufacturing a bonded magnet by mixing the binder with anisotropic rare earth-based magnetic powder. The present invention has effects of supplying a rare earth-based bonded magnet at low cost in manufacture, and having excellent mechanical and magnetic properties. Moreover, the present invention has effects of omitting a curing process required when a thermosetting resin is used in a conventional compression molding method by applying a silane coupling agent and a thermoplastic cellulose-based polymer, thereby simplifying a process and reducing costs, and shortening a process once again as a coupling agent mixing process is not necessary by containing a coupling agent inside an organic binder composition. In the amount of an organic binder for a conventional bonded magnet, reference 5 wt% of magnetic powder should be added commonly. In contrast, the present invention has an effect of having excellent density, mechanical properties, and magnetic properties comparable thereto with a small amount, thereby having the advantage of low costs, high efficiency, and time savings.(S100) Step of mixing a silane coupling agent with a derivative(S110) Step of manufacturing a binder(S120) Step of manufacturing a bonded magnetCOPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
