PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of a rare earth magnet capable of enhancing the coercive-force furthermore when producing an NdFeB-based rare earth magnet by diffusing Nd-Cu after atomization processing such as HDDR processing.SOLUTION : In the manufacturing method of an NdFeB-based rare earth magnet where diffusion processing of Nd-Cu is performed after atomization processing, at least one kind of Al, Zr and Nb is added to the raw material of an NdFeB-based rare earth magnet. Preferably, the atomization processing is performed by HDDR processing. Preferably, both Al and Zr are added. Preferably, the additive amount of Al is 1-8 at% and the additive amount of Zr is 0.5-2 at%.
